Enemy damage and visual effects discrepancy

I’m playing offline so there’s no latency issues to look into.
Since I started playing I noticed I would sometimes get damage from thin air, and lately I started noticing that damage is dealt before the animations are complete.

Just now, for example, I saw a telegraph appear on the ground, started walking out but immediately got stunned and killed.
While the countdown appeared on the screen, the flame from the telegraph also showed up…

You have the in-game option to report a bug. That would be the fastest way to get the working item on the board and visible to the Devs. Cheers!

I was more interested in understanding if it’s an actual issue or if I’m missing something before reporting it as a bug.
