I was wondering how Endurance kind of works. Lets say I have 60% Endurance and 1k Endurance Threshold with 2k Health. If an attack does 1.5k damage, does that initial hit get the 60% reduction, or does it bring me to 500 and then reduce further damage by 60%?
Endurance always works, yeah if you are hit by anything that goes into endurance, any damage pass your non-endurance health loss is reduced.
Normally is not recommended to invest in threshold, only the endurance percent to 60% or close. Usually is better health, unless you got a T6-T7 Threshold affix in a very good item (base and the other affixes), or something like that.
Also if you don’t have problems with resists/armor, you can get up to 150 from the Heorot’s blessings.
Ok so in the scenario I made, I would take 1k damage, then have that 500 reduced by 60% to 200 damage. So in total I would take 1.2k instead of 1.5k?
aaaaah ok…yah I have 60% at the moment but not much into threshold
Yes. The DR from endurance is applied to any part of any damage that is below the threshold regardless of what you hp was when the damage occured.

Build health, the base threshold is 20% of your life. With 2k life you have 400 threshold, seems not much, but on practice is huge.
