about 2/5ths through the story, our characters arrive at the End of Time, where we pretty much find out its all doomed. It kinda makes sense right? everything ends eventually. I’m wondering if when we complete the story (The whole thing, and not just what is currently released), can we have the ability to rebuild that world similar to how Wolcen has the city you can build in at the end game with benefits to the player. I imagine it might be hard to rebalance item drops etc. with something like that in, but at the moment, the end game feels a bit lacking.

I think a nice way to handle it canonically would to look at it as “restoring” rather than building. Maybe is stead of truly building in the end of time, we were just setting specific “areas” of the end of time to different time periods. For example, to unlock the gambler in the end of time (I know we already have it), we set an area in the end of time to be the divine era. it gets a bit complicated because the epoch lets you move through time not space (I think…). but in this way, immersion isn’t broken.
