Enchant Weapon has a QoL node for recast; can we get one on Death Seal?

Death Seal (as far as I’m aware) is used by literally every Lich in the following manner: Cast it, let it run its full duration, recast off cooldown. I don’t know of a single build that releases it early on purpose.

Sooo can we have a QoL node that does that, similar to Enchant Weapon’s “Kindling Blade” node? We can’t numpad it due to the early release function, and any benefits from releasing it early from nodes on the tree are passed up because… they’re bad.

Personally I’m enjoying Death Seal, it’s a dark magic version of Kaioken! It’s just annoying having to constantly check the bar for the CD on it, I’d spend a point on automating it as long as it didn’t have any punishing trade-offs (I’d already be sacrificing damage by throwing the point at it after all).

Edit: Removing the early release function so we could numpad automate it would be grand as well!

We’ll rather see the auto recast on Enchant Weapon gone then other skills getting the same mechanic :D.

My Low Life Non-Ward Harvest Build uses it solely as a damage steriod. (For the self-buff not for Death Waves)

I will deliberately release it early, when there are not more dangerous mosnter around, so it can already cool off (because it has 5 seconds cooldown).

Enchant Weapon is a very old skill spec tree and will probably get reworked at some point.

Any kind of auto-cast and non-interactive gameplay is considered not interesting enough, especially since we “only” have 5 skill slots, so every single skill slot should matter.

So we will rather see the auto-cast node being removed and simialr skills, that are currently used on auto-cast like Devouring Orb or Maelstrom being reworked as well.

I use it as a steroid to but don’t release it early because of the Haste node (haste for every second that you spent sealed).

I’m hoping they learned from their Wandering Spirits rework that not everybody feels that way  Some of us like to trade active skills for constant and supportive ones sometimes!

I use that too, but it’s worth mroe for me to have it ready again, when I am jumping into the next pack.

Because keeping it up between long distances of walking without mobs, then jumping into a pack and it running off after like 1 second is even worse for the damage output.

The main reason to the changes they did to wandering spirits was the visual noise it can cause.
I personally don’t understand why people want so many passive abilities, but i gues each their own.

I am very happy that the devs want each ability to matter, because we “only” have 5 abilities right.

1 button to move fast, 1 button for AoE, 1 button for single target. After that, 2 buttons left; they can be combo buttons, steroids, CC, another move-fast, an oh shoot button, a big attack on CD… Or passive buffs.

There’s lots of flavors, neither you nor the Devs have to dislike this flavor just because there’s other ones you like better.
