The Conduit node causes Enchant Weapon to zap nearby enemies with lightning damage, but does not give the skill the lightning tag. This is most noticeable when using Fragment of the Enigma, which grants +1 to lightning skills, but Enchant Weapon does not gain the +1 despite dealing lightning damage to enemies with the Conduit node.
