EHG has the bug deficit been cleared?

With the extended time from season 1 to season 2 were you able to clear most of the bug backlog?
Would like to know an official update.

I am quite sure that EHG has cleared their bug deficit… there’ll be more bugs then ever before, so rest assured! :stuck_out_tongue:

But to be serious: It’ll be a new release, it’ll bring tons of new bugs, and EHG needs to work more into fixing the old ones during their seasons.

That is what I am afraid of. The new bugs will just keep adding and the old bugs will still be there.

We’ll probably only know from the patch notes(on 11th).

The bugs? Nah, that’s on patch-day and beyond to be seen :stuck_out_tongue:

well they got another week to catch up :stuck_out_tongue:

And communication about it. It feels really bad when you realize after few days (or more) that X points that you invested in a skill are doing literally nothing and are wasted. And if you’re not 1) testing everything all the time, 2) not reading every bits and pieces scattered in Discord and Reddit, 3) not permanently in a twitch chat (where communities shares that kind of discovery with streamers), then you’re kinda screwed.

Happened to me in 0.9, 1.0 and 1.1.
I’m glad that Terek, a french streamer, is back this season. It was part of his content like here, where he listed 34 (!!) bugs for mage/runemaster only, mostly nodes in skill trees that was not working as intented (or not working at all). Many of those bugs took weeks to fix and the official Bug List post on this forum was not listing them at all.

What I suggest is simple :

  • Quicker response in the Known Bugs topic on this forum.
  • Listing bugs that have been confirmed by community but not yet tested by EHG. If many players (or even just a few trusted ones) are saying that X is not working, it should be added to the official list. You can tag it as “Not yet confirmed by devs”, I don’t care.
  • Stop only listing the big noticable bugs (like when movement skills were clunky) and include the semi-invisible ones. Also, please include the ones that “will be fixed soon ™”. ‘Soon’ is a loose word; 3 to 5 days can be very quick (and ‘soonish’) for devs working on it… but it can be a long time for players that are binge-playing the launch of the season. Some players, myself sometimes included, has the majority of their seasonal playtime in the first few days or weeks after a launch. So please don’t discard updates in the Bugs List just because they will probably be fixed ‘soon’.

The game should not require you to be a Master of Whispers, hunting rumors on 2-3 sources, just to be minimaly efficient (and not wasting a dozen skill points for a not-so-juicy +0% damage).
