This is so ridiculous that some classes make other classes look like a joke.

I don’t disagree with most things he said, but I do disagree with his premise. Simply because I feel like 1.0 had way many more broken builds than 1.1 does.
So if Aby was introduced in 1.0 instead, he would have been one-shot by a dozen different builds and he would have been facetanked by another dozen.

In 1.1, though, he’s one-shot by half a dozen, at most, and he’s not face tanked by any.
So balance is already better in 1.1.

Now, obviously this is still not good. I don’t know if EHG is afraid to do proper nerfs to OP builds due to the possible community reaction, but in my opinion it’s necessary. Especially because some of the OP builds in 1.0 are still OP in 1.1 and were definitely not nerfed enough.

I rather see buffs. Its an arpg. Its OK to one shot the enemy. Its fun. Tell me this aint fun.

ONE shots are the closest thing to this in LE. We need more

If your builds aren’t one shotting trash mobs you’re doing it so wrong.

I prefer one shotting bosses. I just found this video as a metaphor. Trash mobs are one shot, for most part up to 300c. But i want to one shot a 400c Abomination. That would be fun.

If you make a mana stacking static orb sorc build, or a shatter strike build or a few others, you can even one shot Abom at 600c or more.
There are a few that will one shot most bosses up to a very high corruption level.

That’s fair enough, and you can still do that at lower corruption, but when you can one shot bosses, they’re effectively not bosses anymore, they’re trash mobs (woth bigger models).

But you need to work up to being able to do that by actually fighting them properly. The goal is to be able to one shot them… and your gearing/ farming/ etc is all a means to that end.

It’s also a metric on how well you’re doing gear wise… like… I can only get Julra 4 down to 30%… I need to focus on X, Y and Z gear/ skills/ etc.

It’s not like people are just hitting 100 and destroying corruption 1000 content.

It ain’t fun if you oneshot everything the game has to offer, probably off-screen.
That is about as exciting to me as auto-clickers.

But fun is subjective, so you do you.
