I’ll just share the TLDR version:
- I purchased the game on Steam
- I liked the game
- I clicked an in-game button to show me supporter options
- I saw could have gotten a pet and points at no additional cost to me if I purchased at website
- I refunded game at Steam
- I did a search on this forum and saw many people with similar issues where responses implied they DID already have the supporter pack purchased but the mechanism informing Steam Early Adopters was not as effective as it should be
- I was frustrated
As a side note I no longer own the game on Steam but this website identifies that I do, in fact, own the game on Steam (so I can play via the launcher without a valid copy)
