Duping items with the vendor

Hi,

Havent seen this one yet, to reproduce (tried it the keeper’s camp merchant) :

  • Have an item equipped
  • Be in a vendor window
  • Have an item for the same slot in inventory
    (not needed) - Press shift and right clic on the item in inventory => the item is sold : this works fine. Buy it back
    - Press shift and left clic on the item in inventory => the item is equipped (this also works fine)
  • Press shift and left then right clic (maintaining shift) in a somewhat fast succession on the item in inventory
    => the item is not equipped but sold. The item in the “buy back” is the same as the one equipped. You can buy it back and have 2 of them

It might seems a bit random written like that but its just 2 clics maintaining shift, not hard to do

Do they both persist if you reload the game?

no it doesnt sadly. and the shards obtained match the previous item

Its more like a skin transfert really

Not sure that your duping technique not working is a sad event…

ah you’re right, i was expressing my deception at it not working the way i originally pictured
