Dungeons and controller incompatibility in menuing

So I tried the Spriggan dungeon for the first time. At the last door before the boss it had a “menu” where I either “click” leave or proceed. My a button didn’t do anything on pressing when it highlighted proceed, so I figured maybe I need to select first (cause that was the default), so I press left on the d pad, but nothing happens. After using the mouse to click I go forward and then get teleported to town. Turns out pressing left, created a tp behing the massive door and so instead of going forward my character went into the tp instead.

Aside from that being hugely annoying having wasted my time and key it’s also horrible from a controller user point of view. There was nothing I could do on the controller (or nothing obvious or intuitive) to select the choice, forcing me to use the mouse anyway. But while the menu is on I still can apparently use all my abilities like making hidden portal behind the big door.
Anyway, please make controller support for these kinds of dungeon menus or at least turn off ability usage while where in said menu. Similar with for instance putting in the key at the start. Using right stick to create a mouse cursor to move the key from my inventory to the door slot is kinda silly

+1 to this. On a controller, it’s impossible to proceed past dungeon checkpoints. This screen:

The “Proceed” button can’t be accessed by controller, as far as I can see.

Didn’t they announce they are working on controller improvements?

I’ve burned a dungeon key with a portal too. Kind of sucks but plenty drop in empowered monos where I’m playing now.

Well you can use the right Stick to move the the Mouse over the Button and Press A, but thats really annoying. Arena hast the same issue…
Please implement A for continung and X for cancel (or something similar).
