I’m absolutely hyped for the changes. Haven’t played druid that much. But what you guys teasered so far looks great. Rampage and Maul look great and transport the feeling of a massive Werebear.
I’m also very curious about the Spriggan overhaul and the new form. Multi-form builds sound cool also permanent form builds. Lots of hours will be spent
That lihtning effects, form itself while he is running is stunning, great job it really looks fun to play
Edited
I never play transformation builds, this will be my first (will try lightning bear)
Is Storm Lightning a new Primalist skill which will have its own skill tree or is it just like the Lightning procs for Maelstrom/Tornado/Shaman passives ?
Everything I had been hoping for and more! The ability to weave in more benefits from the other specialization slots, the presence of a solid elemental-infused build, and the sheer power of the Maul animation… This is all great and I can’t wait to see where the other forms go to match it.
Yeah, that’s kinda why I’d rather it be a targetted proc on a nearby mob From the looks of it, if you’re not moving directly towards a mob, it wouldn’t get hit.
I want an expensive node that triggers Earthquake at the maul impact point. Like take the “Uses Fury Leap” node. Take 3 or 4 points of a weak node. Then take “Uses Earthquake, no longer uses Fury Leap”.
They’re unlikely to let the EQ Werebear build be a thing again. Being able to proc a very hard hitting AoE skill without it’s mana cost every ~2s isn’t a good balance.
Maul counts as a movement skill, so it does work with Bhuldar’s Wrath. It won’t be as crazy as old EQ Werebear unless something goes very wrong though.
I hope those other forms eventually come in as cosmetics. Top Heavy is a good choice for default but damn if I wouldn’t love some Wendigo or Druidic myself
