I’m trying to make fun new Druid builds but the Druids Call interactions in tempest strike do not work with any other skill tree. Not sure if this is intentional or not but since the vocabulary used in the tooltip suggests that it should work.
Take for example “Ceaseless Tyhoon” (is this a typo btw?), when Wind Tempest is cast through Druid’s Call in Werebear or Swarmblade form, the tornadoes do not take any of the skill tree effects of Tornado. It works correctly in human form of course but not transformed. I tested this out by adding fire to the tornadoes and hit the dummies for an hour, and not once saw a fire tornado come out.
The tooltip in Ceaseless Tyhoon suggest that theres a chance Tornado is cast when Wind Tempest is, and with Druids Call, we have a chance to cast Wind Tempest on hit while transformed. With Ceaseless Tyhoon stating that it consumes mana on proc, it is safe to assume we are casting Tornado with all of this skill tree effects with Ceaseless Tyhoon through Druids Call but that is not the case.
Take for example Windfury Strikes in the Swarmblade form skill tree. The tooltip states that we cast Tornado when we hit stacks in our Swarmblade form and those tornados do indeed have the skilltree effects from Tornado as we do see fire tornadoes with the same test and it being primarily used in the lightning swarmblade build
Is this working as intended? I would love to see Tempest Strike synergize with Druids a little better because I think there is opportunity for some really cool builds.
