DoT tracker

Brand new to the game, so forgive me if I just don’t see this option already, but is there any way to see your DoT durations/stacks on a target?

Trying to maximize damage on a dot build is really difficult if you can’t tell what’s applied/how much longer it’s duration is.

Even changing the color of the numbers that are ticking on a enemy to the color corresponding to the damage type (green/poison, red/bleed, etc) would be incredibly useful!

Nope, but for most damaging DoTs they don’t have a stack cap so you want to get as many on the target as possible and there aren’t any that have special effects if you pass a threshold.

Hey! Thanks for the response. So do you mean to tell me dots just keep stacking, even if it’s the same type (ie poison)?

Yes, though some have a cap:

Oh wow well… Hmm… That makes me think there’s really not much reason then to be trying to stack a variety of dots if I can just focus on one specific type (I was trying to “roll” poison, fire, and a bleed dot as the rogue type)…

That’s sort of different… But… 🤷 Guess I’ll wait and see how I feel about it.

Either way, perhaps this could be neatly labeled in a way that people could easily identify how many stacks are on or whatever, but thank you for the answer!

I don’t really see the point (other than that numbers are you friend), since there’s unlikely to ever be a point where knowing the number of stacks of an ailment on a target makes you think “right, I’m not going to X, I’ll Y instead”.
