My newest Falconer is level 39, so I’m not sufficiently high enough to where I can equip all of the gear - although I do own the stuff. I’m not concerned if it’s a “meta” build, or even if it can defeat the pinnacle boss: I just want it to be fun and decently effective.
Playstyle is to drop a couple Ballista, throw an Acid Flask on them to maximize their Poison Damage and procs, then Puncture to rack up the Poison + Bleed stacks. Smoke Bomb is my Traversal skill instead of Aerial Assault because I was concerned the latter didn’t do enough for me, although it has some Ballista nodes that’d be nice to have. Ironically I didn’t have the room for Dive Bomb and its spear-related node (Valkyrie).
My biggest concern are the Resistances: there’s hardly anything in the build until you acquire the Empowered Blessings. It might be that there are too many Unique items getting in the way of that, but what should I remove?
Any suggestions are welcome, of course! I already received a comment in-game wondering about my Rogue, as I was wandering through town with a Draalsting equipped haha
Serpent Milk amulet with -90% minion poison dmg…
Falcon skill node 100% of your poison chance is now falcons , but 0% is 0%
Maybe it is better to remove amulet and use exalted? And get some +poison chance for sure
I suppose that’s a problem, ain’t it lol. Poison Chance is attached to Puncture itself, rather than as a base effect that’ll help the Falcon. The Vipertail belt is doing all the work currently, and more would be preferable.
Amulets don’t have Poison Chance as an option, so I’d have to look elsewhere. I can’t even hope to attach Poison Chance to Lethal Concentration, because it was empowered by a Nemesis with +41 Melee Physical Damage. A fine roll, but not the most important one.
…I’m guessing stacking a bunch of little Chance to Poison on Hit idols is a bad move lol.
I can’t get what type of poison you going to make main, because stacks of poison ailment from minion’s hits and character’s hits will be calculated separately (and no matter that they’ll be shown as one under target’s hp bar)
Hmm…I don’t know how to fix that lol. I think I’ll continue leveling, to give it a shot: just hit 58 equipped Lethal Concentration.
Thought about doing a Cold build with Mordita’s Reach, or some kind of Eulogy of Blood + Apogee of Frozen Light situation, but I’m guessing they would have their own issues.
What about a fire trap? Ye spam traps, they drop both flasks and catapults, and in the poisonous flasks branch there is a talent for automatically dropping flasks when ye are get hit? And also a bait that can also throw flasks, + 3 baits… + a falcon which dropeth flasks…
