Does Shadow Dagger triggered by melee skills benefit from both Throwing & Melee damage?

I’d like to test but I don’t have a Rogue save at enough level (no dummy at low level). And the damage range is too wide and I cannot tell if Shadow Dagger benefits from both.
It seems to me Shadow Dagger is a completely seperate attack from the skill that triggers it. So it should benefit from both? (and it does on tooltip)

Shadow Daggers has both melee & throwing tags so it benefits from all those modifers regardless of how it is proc’d.

The only oddity is that any flat damage from skill nodes won’t be inherited by Shadow Daggers as the ailment the skill applies doesn’t do damage directly. The Shadow Daggers ailment (which is what is applied by the skill) procs the Shadow Daggers subskill which is what does the damage.
