Does Rune of Winter Tranform Spark Charge to cold dmg?

Hello all.

Rune of winter converts “Lightning Blast” Lightning damage to frost, Inside “Lightning Blast” upgrade path there’s a node called "Cloud Answer " that applies “Spark Charge”, that is Electrical damage. Does this Electrical damage gets converted to Cold as well, benefiting from my +%Cold damage, or it will always scale on Lightning Dmg? Thank you for your time.

No, procs & ailments only get converted if specified.

Oh okey. Thank you. This means going “lightning blast” with cold damage is not worth it in the long run?

No, just that you generally don’t want to mix different damage types. Cold isn’t bad & Frostbite is a good DPS ailment.
