Does anyone know? It’s one of those things where I don’t know how or where to look it up. If I allocate a point, at least the mana use according to the tooltip does not seem to increase, but not sure…
Ok, one thing I noticed now: When I have one point in that skill, the initial press of the mouse button uses an extra 5 mana, but after that it looks like normal. The DPS shown in the toolbar does not change at all… What does this mean now?
Hmmm nobody knows? This would be really important to find out for my build 
I see that I pay an initial higher mana cost when i start channeling, 5 mana more when i first click the button, but that is irrelevant, since I can then channel for a minute without spending any more mana… Somehow I cannot imagine that I get the ‘more damage’ bonus for the full channel-time then, or do I? How could I find that out? I don’t trust the toolbar DPS too much, that has shown weird things before…
