I was curious if someone has worked out how mob crit, mob hit, miss, dodge/block/glancing blows/protections work in this game.
Lets say a mob at a level = to yours has a base crit of 5%, 90% hit and 5% miss. Are dodge and block chance on the same table then where if you have 45% dodge and 55% block you will always at least block if not outright dodge every non DOT attack ? Or are they on some type of separate table ? I think this would be great info to have as you could effectively push all hits off the table and make them blocks.
Lets say that is true. Then the blocked hits could either crit or hit at a reduced amount = your block protections etc.
THEN once that hit amount is calculated then glancing blows and crit avoidance would be added on last with crit avoidance removing all crits and glancing blows halving the blocked damage.
Is this correct ? or is it more complicated than that with separate tables for dodge, for block for crit, for miss, etc etc.
I am very curious because it could change the value of dodge etc based on if it is used on the same hit table as block as more dodge after 100% dodge + block would be worth less per point.
