When you’re farming monoliths, is it better to clear the echo up to the max stability bonus or is that just there to compensate your time if it takes a while to find the objective and you’re supposed to just move on after?
I suppose this might also change depending on what you’re trying to do.
No, it just wastes time. Simply get the objective as fast as you can. In the end, you’ll have the same amount of stability but way more echo rewards and probably even in less time.
I don’t usually clear for stability, but on lower level characters (55-85) I like to stay in longer and kill more monsters for XP. Downtime on switching between echos does technically lose you XP.
Personally I like to do max stability because I find that between completing the objective and reaching max stability I find at least 1 key, sometimes 2.
Dunno the importance of keys atm, Im just new and sharing my observation.
Keys aren’t very important. You’ll have a lot of them anyway pretty soon. And arena keys aren’t even worth selling anymore, so if you don’t like arena content (like most players don’t) they are now useless. At least the dungeon keys will have some uses.
It takes roughly 10-15 seconds, if you’re fast, to start a new echo. It’s unlikely you will gain 15 stability in that 10-15 seconds, so it is quicker to gain stability by starting a new echo once the objective is complete.
If you’re specifically farming for experience and nothing more, perhaps clearing maps that are only good density may be best.
I rush trough map to objective and after that i decide by explored parts if i will go + exiled mage, chest or shrine. If i dont find anything on my way to objective i go next mono.
I play before with full exploring way and it was waste if time in 70% of runs …but now im lvl 99 …for those who are low lvl is good to farm xp from enemies.
I do not do that. I just check on the mono what rewards I want I do the objective and move on. The xp and stability will come anyway and I just go for nodes I want to farm which is the uniques I want to farm from that mono so it feels like I waste time if I just sit around in an echo for so long instead of going to the next “unique reward” on the mono
