Divine essence passive node for paladin is not triggered

i have 42 % block chance.
I expect it to proc from:

1. aegis of renewal passive that gives 25% chance to heal on block.
2. mighty shield node of holy aura skill that grants health on block.
   i still never saw even 1 divine essence granted. (i expect it must be some indication of it

Well, if you’re blocking 42% of hits & have 25% chance to heal on block & 6-30% chance to proc a divine essence on heal, that would be 0.6%-3% chance to proc a divine essence on block. Not sure if the “health on block” nodes count as healing (since I don’t think they’re affected by healing effectiveness, health on block might not count).

Have you tried speccing into Holy Symbol on the passive tree? That’s a guaranteed heal on block with a 3s cooldown, though from memory there was a bug where if the heal would put you over max hp, it didn’t count as a heal for the Prayer node.

its 3.15% chance to proc divine essence from aegis of renewal.
its 12.6 chance to proc divine essence from mighty shield.
the chance one of them will proc is:
(1 -0.9685 *0.874) * 100 = 15.35%
I agree its not big , but i didn’t see it even once.
Another thing its different wording for those skills:
first heals , second grants health.
technically its same thing , but very confusing. (many tooltips suffer from this).
Maybe divine essence only proc from skills casted or proced (this must be stated in tooltip)

ill test it with more block chance to be sure.
