One of my absolute favourite, if not most favourite mechanics of this genre is loot drops, that sensation of treasure hunting and that feeling you get when you drop something really special, which often means it is really rare.
Dropping and discovering new uniques is always satisfying but I always felt that a trick is missed by not making the rarity of the unique known. Gating these drops is common practise which appears to be utilised effectively here too.
Since it is easy enough to deduce how rare an item is through community stat pooling and besides, I’m pretty sure there’s no reason for it to be a secret, it would add so much more satisfaction to know you’ve dropped a higher rarity drop tier unique and a simple indicator such as a few examples below would cover that.
