I don’t know if this is already planned or has been discussed but it would be nice to have an algorithm implemented that does the following automatically:
Based on last enemy attacked, the game displays your chance to hit, deal X status effects (stun, freeze, etc.), and for said character to hit you. This info could be displayed somewhere in the character screen.
This would be helpful for messing around with builds and different gear.
deal X status effects (stun, freeze, etc.), - it does, on the “other” tab, but it doesn’t include skill-specific chances, or anything that doesn’t have it’s own line (eg, Calamity’s chance to ignite for fire skills)
and for said character to hit you. - 100% unless it’s a ranged mob that has been blinded
This info could be displayed somewhere in the character screen. - it is, on the “other stats” tab.
What you want is skill/tooltip dps, which is on their list of things to do (phase 2).
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t your “chance to hit” always 100% unless the enemy has dodge? And I’m pretty sure the reverse is true as well, with their “chance to hit” always being the exact reverse of your dodge %. This game doesn’t really have an “accuracy” stat like other ARPGs.
