Hi, I would like to suggest to enable appearances offline.
Many of us have invested in versions of the game that offers cosmetics as well received other items by investing time watching streamers. As these ownerships have value to players they should be able to be consumed regardless the mode in play.
In addition, that offers more flexibility when problems arises with servers. I understand you may have blocked the feature due some complex scenarios with steam payment, however if the player has connection meanwhile playing offline, they should still be able to access the store and buy items for themselves regardless multiplayer.
I have experience designing for in-game marketplace for AAA studios and can offer UX support if you need. Keep the good work.
I donât understand why they donât just set all the items from the shop in the online version on steam as individual items with the description Offline, so if people want to buy them for the offline version they can but they wonât be able to use them for the online version. Any purchases made âby mistakeâ would be handled with a refund through support and therefore everyone would be happy.
