What does it mean that I have to discover the remaining branches of a timeline? Do I have to literally complete EVERY map within a specific monolith timeline to get completion? I’m level 86 and having to go all the way back to level 55 stuff seems pointless.
Some timelines have multiple choices for paths you can take.
For example the Lvl 55 (Fall of the Outcasts) timeline can lead to the lvl 60 (The Stolen Lance) and lvl 65 (The Black sun) timeline.
You either have to do the timeline twice on normal or alternatively you can also repeat the Fall of the Outcast timeline on empowered lvl 100 and unlock the remaining branch.
Redoing a timeline in empowered is very good anyway for a chance of a good Empowered Blessing
When you say do the timeline twice on normal do you mean I have to clear every map within the timeline web twice? How do I do it on empowered lvl 100 and unlock the remaining branch?
I’m just trying to figure out how to actually complete the “Discover the Remaining Branches of the Timeline” within my quest journal.
You do the timeline once. Several echoes then the three quests. At that moment, you chose a path.
Then, you do some more echoes, till you have enough stability to do the three quests. You do them again. And then you chose the other path.
That will be a relatively low amount of echoes, not the whole web.
If you do the 3 quest echoes within a given timeline you are given choices via dialoges at specific points. For some it’s after defeatign the boss, for some it’s in the 1st or 2nd quest echo.
You can do this on eitehr normal or empowered.
You can unlock all timelines on empowered by doing the 3 lvl 90 normal timelines and interact with the Altar in the middle of those 3 timeliens in the End Of Time.
Even though everytimeoine is unlocked as empowered now, you still need to have access to it via the different paths.
Personally, I prefer to go through all parts of the plot in full - then there is more understanding of the game’s history itself. And if there is a need to return to content that was several levels ago, this is not a problem. I’m used to it in other games.
While this approach is totally valid it doesn’t matter for MoF.
Each Monolith Timeline is an separate alternative storyline.
They are all not connected with each other.
