Difference between Shock and Shred Lightning Res Blessing? Can I have 40 stacks of resistance shred with both?

You can get 2 Blessing from Lagon.
40-60% chance to shock on hit
25-50% chance to shred lightning resistance
Can I have 40 stacks of resistance shred with both of them (20 from shock & 20 from shred)?

If no, what is the meaning of the second blessing (shred lightning res) because…

  1. first blessing has a higher chance to apply
  2. shock also shred lightning res
  3. shock increases enemy’s chance to be stunned.

Yes you can have 20 stacks of Shock and 20 stacks of Lightning Resist Shred. They will work together to reduce the resistances by 200% - Keep in mind, on bosses this will have 60% reduced effect, resulting in -80% resistances on that boss. (I think.)
