Difference between minion melee damage and minion physical damage?

Looked around the forum but couldn’t really find an answer. What’s the difference between minion melee damage and minion physical damage?

Minion melee damage affects all melee damage a minion does regardless of what element that is (fire melee, cold melee, phys melee, necrotic melee, etc).

Minion phys damage affects all phys damage a minion does regardless of how it does that damage (spell, melee, throwing, etc).

also if your minions do physical dmg over time, like bleed, they will benefit from the +physical dmg ,while they will not benefit from the +melee dmg.
