As you can see in the video below, when I attack tentacles (especially the second one) with Detonating Arrow, it’s not hitting them nor attaching to them and go completely straight through the enemy. In general, I’ve faced that issue quite often with other enemies too. It feels that on tall enemies you need to attack lower than your target actually is to hit hitbox, especially on flying enemies. And with tentacle, from some angles in close you just can’t hit hitbox at all. At the same time, as you can see in the video, puncture doesn’t have that problem, and targeting works fine if you step away from the enemy.
I do not have allocated “Navigator’s Shot” in the video. Allocating it mostly solves the problem of missing close shots, but I find in weird that you can’t hit the skill without passive point allocated. Especially considering that this passive seems to be meant for long range auto-targeting, not for close-range.
