Like the title,
It is real offline mode (luanched via steam page, since desktop shortcut doesn’t work!), I enter the name of the character, the button “delete” become red and selectable, I click on it and nothin happens.

EDIT: the character was deleted, but I only see that after leaving and reload the game. So the bug seems related to menu update or confirmation message or something similar.
Having the same issue, and they are NOT going away after relog. I have like 19 characters I cant get rid of. I play HC and go aggressive, cuz fun, die and start over. I have dead characters ranging from level 7 to 75, and I cant get rid of any of them.
I tried both options, with and without the character name verification. I have verified steam files, I tried NOT deleting until after I log off a character after death. I tried logging into then out of a legacy character, tried all the things…still cant delete any of them.
I will be out of slots soon. Please help. Ive got 800 hours played already so I burn through characters quick.
I refuse to play SC, so once I am out of slots, I will be unable/unwilling to play.
Have you tried turning off steam cloud saving? (For last epoch)
That did not work. I have reinstalled the game completely and it did not work. I have since downloaded the game on a completely different computer, and all of my characters are there. I also found out deleting characters is also not working on my live account. At this point, I would rather just refund the game and buy a new account because nothing is working and I seem to be the only one with this issue.
Happens to me too, playing offline cycles SSF, Steam sync off. Sometimes closing the game and opening again helps, usually not. I tried with and without the “type character name to delete” setting enabled, no change.
