Speccing into Decrepit Mortals (Ghostflame skill) does not seem to add the “curse” tag to the skill description, so I am hoping this is done somewhere internally where I cannot see it.
If so, will keeping this specced also allow me to treat GF as a curse skill for Encroaching Darkness and the like?
If the skill is not getting the Curse tag, then it’s probably a bug, even if just a visual bug and the skill is actually correctly tagged in the background. Maybe fill a bug report using the in-game tool.
Either way, I suppose it does not work together with the Encroaching Darkness node. The node says: “when you directly cast a curse” and the Decrepit Mortals says “after channeling ghostflame for 1.5s, the skull releases a screech”, so it is a procced skill released by the skull, not a curse directly casted by you.
But then, if Ghostflame actually gains the Curse tag, you’re effectively directly casting a curse spell when you start channeling it, and maybe it should work?
Just by reading the text is hard to say. It might need some testing to be sure.
The node says that Ghostflame’s damage doesn’t scane with increased curse damage so I’d imagine probably not.
From what I can tell from my measly tests, Ghostflame does NOT gaian the curse tag, at least using GF with Decrepit Mortals will not proc PV’s “stream of profanity”. So either the text is inaccurate or outdated or this is bugged
The damage doesnt scale but it’s supposed to gain the curse tag. This is, from what I can test, false.
Is it me, or is the “report a bug” button from the main interface suddenly gone?
Which “main interface” are you referring to? It’s there for me on the character selection screen and it’s there in-game when I press Esc.
When I press escape it’s no longer there
Not sure what the issue might be then as it’s there for me. Have you verified your file integrity with Steam? Can’t think of any other reason it might not be there, maybe others can think of something. I would definitely file this under Bug Reports though if Steam verification doesn’t resolve it.
