I died, the death recap screen/ respawn button flashed for a few frames, and then disappeared and I was able to access menus and use some abilities, but unable to move or interact with anything.
Same thing happened to me, tried to hit Respawn quickly after dying and it left me at my corpse with 0 health unable to move or do anything. Eventually had to quit of the game.

Just want to add this also happened to me. Fighting Lagon. Now I have to go back 3 areas =\
