Death Screen After Teleporting

Was playing hardcore today, teleported to another region, and when the loading finished I was dead. I think this is a major flaw in the design of the game.
Sucks really hard to have my HC character die after so many hours of extremely careful dungeon crawling.
PLEASE don’t place monsters near portals, or at least don’t let them move until you do. You have this mechanic in arenas already, why not make it for other places too?

EDIT: moved this from feature request to bug report. The death happened on Shattered Valley if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah, they have already put in place a system to help prevent this, but it’s apparently not perfect yet. Did you create in ingame bug report? If so then that will help them a lot as it includes your game files. If not, please go to the top and edit this to move it to Bug Reports.

They really should add a rule to prevent enemies from spawning “near” the players. As well as making enemy spawn far enough for minions to start attacking them. I’m playing a potion-chugging-ASMR zombiemancer recently, and I can’t even AFK for a little bit if something comes up irl, because enemies or the stupid spires (PLEASE DELETE THESE SPIRES ALREADY, EHG PLS) starts hitting me even I still have the invulnerability buff.

But I’ve had this problem too, when it lags and loading screen takes longer than usual.

I didn’t, was kinda upset when it happened. Later I realized that when you go from HC to normal, you lose everything you had on the stash. This is probably the last drop for me. Was trying to support the game, but these constant bugs are just too much for me.

Well, not really. If you make another HC character, your stash is still there. It’s just not available to your new SC character.

Although, considering that SC characters have the “Deathless” tag, there’s really no real point in playing HC, unless you’re going for leaderboards.
