Death, Damage, Bug or Not?

I filed an ingame Bug Report but maybe it’s not a bug, so wanted to find out. Fighting the Harbinger and 300 corruption in the Black Sun.

This was one of those instantaneous gibs which I realize happens now and again if you’re not running a meta build but there’s no Damage number listed and and no overkill damage listed which seemed weird to me.

Can anyone shed some light? If this is a bug I’ll move this post to the Bug area, but if it’s just me not reading the screen properly, then we’ll chalk it up to a learning lesson.

Seems like it’s missing the line about the hit damage and overkill damage. The rest of the screen is the regular one.

I can’t think of a reason for that line not showing, so it seems to me to be a bug.

Yeah, everything about it looked obvious except that part, so it made me wonder if a) it was a bug, or b) if there are some new abilities added that just insta-gib you if they touch you that aren’t ‘damage’ related. I honestly didn’t think it was b) because that would be a bit crazy.
