Are you lazy? So am I, and sometimes I feel the best in slot isn’t always the highest tier, so I’ve decided to make a casual loot filter with some basic rules that’ll fit any situation without being very complex about what it filters out.
Having little filter rules also makes it easier to add more later if needed in my opinion.
Hey there,
I just looked at your filter and it is…shall we say interesting.
Why are you recoloring Non Class Exalted Items? And Why do you use Affix Tier More Or Equal 6 instead of just saying exalted?
You are hiding virtually all idols not for your current class, that is not recommended and should be optional.
Your Recolor Idol Affix rule does not differentiate between Generic Idols and Class Specific Idols, I would highly recommend seperating these.
Your “General Best Defense & Attribute Affixes” Rule has %inc. Area selected as well. (This is falsy in the attribute category). Also Affixes like All Resistances or All Attributes are only available on very specific Item types (Shields and 2H Melee Weapons). I would not include them at all in this rule.
General observation: You are emphasiing everything that you recolor, without any regular recolor rules. I don’t think this is optimal. Emphasizing should specifically be used for very valueable things to make them stand out.
The Hide Tier 1 + 2 Items after level 40 has also all idol affixes sselected. Idols don’t have affix tiers and this would hide every single idol.
Overall I don’t mind the way you filter items, but what I don’t like about your filter is, that it requires significant things to be done, before it is usefull.
If somebody would get it and does forget to adjust a couple of things, some things will be hidden completely.
I don’t think that this is ideal and a lot of these very strict hide rules should be tiked off by default.
Thanks for the feedback, I’ve done some more thinking and rebuilt it for people as lazy as I am.
Was using your filter until now, it’s pretty good, but again I’m lazy so I wanted something much more loose.
