Can someone help me understand how the 2 Damage Reflect stats work.
There are:
1: Damage Dealt to Attackers.
2: Damage Reflected.
1 is flat damage you can get on items that are dealt to the attacker.
But 2 are % items like Valdyr’s Chalice has 100% of Damage Reflected.
But is that 100% of the attackers damage, or a 100% modifier to the flat damage you get from stat 1??
Also Spriggets Thron Shield had a flat 50 Damage Dealt to Attacker, but what other stats modifies this?
In general to other stats in anyway effect reflected damage dealt?
Edit: Also can any of the 2 stats proc things like bleed?
The two stats do not interact with each other in terms of increasing damage output on reflect.
If I have 20 flat damage reflect as well as 50% damage reflected and I take 100 damage (after all mitigation has been applied) I would reflect 70 damage back (20 + 50).
All reflected damage is damage you take after mitigation, so it would be the attacker’s damage after mitigation (% stat reflection) and thus only really scales to the attacker’s speed and also to an extent the damage you take.
I do not believe they can be used to proc ailments, as I do know that reflected damage has no damage type, I could be wrong in this regard

The sprigged also have a node that say it converd thorn shield to ice damage.
The only thing that modifies how much flat reflect damage gets reflected is the new unique shield which has a % increased flat reflected damage per point of Attunement affix.

The Blossoming Garden node say you cast in on a allied, but what if there are non and only you? Do it cast on yourself then or do it not work then?
Edit: also if you cast Thorn Shield with either the passive node thicket of thorns or with the weapon Hazelroot, will the thorn shield get the notes from sprigget form if i have it on the bar but is in swarmblade form?
Thorn Shield is really strong defensively as well. As far as I can tell, every one that is stacked adds the armour. It takes a few seconds to get the stacks up, but monsters stopped being able to damage me. On top of that, when the shield burst happens, that will trigger on hit effects.
Without a lot of the support, I was able to get up to the boss and just spam Thorn Shield on myself and everything would die. Trash could probably be handled with a good amount of reflect even without using the Thorn Shield.

Have you tried the passive node that give thorn shield? do it get the stats form the sprigget nodes?
I do max that (Thicket of Thorns) on a reflect build. Not because of the Thorn Shield proc, which is minimal, but because of the Armour and Flat Reflect on the node.
I also try to spec into cast speed although I don’t know if it actually works on Thorn Shield.
For defenses, I don’t really put too much into Health. I stack resists, armour, endurance, and health regen. I can get up to 600+ Endurance Threshold and 600+ Life Regen.
I stack Attunement where available and grab the Harmonious Wisdom node. That takes a lot of pressure off the suffix spot for Crit avoidance. I grab the Aspects of Might node to add even more armour as a lot of the nodes you want happen to have Strength on them.
From the Beastmaster tree I pick up Ursine Strength, Boar Heart, and Porcine Constitution for even more damage reduction. (You need another 2 points to get to Porcine, I grab a couple small life nodes).
