Damage dealt to mana before health <-> Spriggan Form?

Title really says it…does the mechanic “Damage dealt to mana before health” work in Spriggan Form where you have rage and not mana? Or does it not?

I am having a harsd time finding a conclusive answer to this.

Best regards,
Hargir

No, because you’re not using mana you have/are using rage.

It does. I’ve tested it this season when doing the reflect build. If you have a damage dealt to mana, it will remove rage.

I don’t think it will work for any “missing mana” or “per max mana” affixes, but it definitely works for damage dealt to mana.

Thank you.

That just made the Seed of Ekkidrasil a whole lot better in my book

Can confirm. Seed does redirect damage against rage.

Rage is orange mana

And yet blue mana regen doesn’t affect orange mana so you can’t just say that it’s “orange mana” & expect everything to carry across.

Not quite. Rage does not regenerate with mana regen for instance.

Effects:

100% less Mana Regen

50% increased Melee Damage

15% increased Health

+5 Mana Drain

Rage is orange mana.

Everything that works with mana works with rage, because it’s the same thing but one is orange.

See it’s even a mana drain when you turn into a Werebear, not a Rage Drain. And also mana regen could be working if there was a big x0 in front of it.

It’s also an easy way for newish player to understand that effects that relies on mana will also works with Rage. Like Seed of Ekkidrasil or the Storm Bolt Node that scale with Max mana

Also if you don’t believe me, you can believe Mike
