Daily quests

Mostly a copy/paste I mentioned in another forum that went off into a tangent. Daily quests are basically a cheat code for maintaining daily player count and breaks up monotony a bit.

Controversial, since I both loathe and enjoy them depending on how they are handled, but daily quests could go a long way to breaking up the monotony of the endgame. Could have a dungeon daily, a specific mono daily, rifts, arena, etc.

How you would reward based on this, I don’t know. Maybe a merchant at the end of time that lets you spend “daily points” on gear, rift beast rewards, runes or glyphs, exp books, MG or CoF resources, echoes and anything else that might cut down the grind a bit.

IMHO it’s a slippery slope but the best thing to avoid in this case is exclusives from doing dailies, and battle passes. A battle pass by any name tends to draw a lot of ire

I wouldn’t mind this but maybe instead of dailies do something like seasonal quests? i.e. fully upgrade the beast like 5 times or even clear tier 1-4 dungeons, beat story with x characters, get all 5 skills to 20 points, get to wave 100 on arena etc. Then for rewards you get some options which can help with leveling like gold or runes or legendary leveling items or in endgame give stash tabs, favor for your end game faction etc. They have to make some of the stuff more incentive like doing arena or going to the other dungeons instead of Julra T4 slams.

Why not both? Short term dailies, long term seasonals. I find the weird part of endgame is they just say “here are monos, go” without much direction. Seasonal things might help guide people to all the resources end game has like echos, arena, dungeons, and maybe just a more comprehensive introduction to monos.
