I apreciate the timer on the homepage, but can we get exact start dates for this cycle, for specific timezones? I just wanted to check what time we start, but i have found out, that there is only timer, no written info. All i can do is watch teaser which tells me it’s 26th March, but that’s it. I think it’s in your best interest for a player to be able to go to the site for a few seconds and get a clear release date.
I…I am speechless is all that I can say. We live in a world where I can ask an AI to find all the information possible about things that happened 1000 years ago or some shit and we get stuck at this? How?
I am confused, the timer on the homepage does not tell you when it starts in your specific time zone? ![]()
The patch is going live 4pm UTC
It tells me it starts in 5d 04h 42m 05s.
Where is the info then?
I am also confused. Do i really have to ask AI for this? It’s not an uncommon thing to put start date. It’s a simple information which helps people not to get confused. I can do the math and i know when it starts but i can also make a mistake in calculation, especially if i change a time zone meantime.
But whatever, it’s just a suggestion. I won’t die for it, i just think it’s better for the game to have this info easy to find.
Nah was me expressing myself poorly because I did not want to offend you for not using simple basic math to calculate when the game will be out in your time zone.
This is as nice as Im gonna be I guess on this subject
It was in the patch notes and when you hover over it should of told you the exact time for your timezone.
With that said EHG is “ELEVENTH HOUR” Games. They always release at 11 am central time zone. So for me East coast at noon.
If you add the amount of time on the countdown to now, that’s what you’ll get.

TBH, I think handing all of our critical thinking & investigative skills off to AI is probably the problem.

And if they have a start time people will ask when that is in their timezone, so they’ve done one better & just given a countdown.

I guess so but it still baffles me to see things like these…I mean cmon how hard is it to just count like oh 4 days + x hours from now or w.e…just…wth
While I agree with that (and I’ve never felt the need for it personally, even after years of PoE and doing the math myself, since they also only show a countdown), it’s also true that it’s not hard to provide local times.
Both MotoGP and F1 pages have been doing that for years, showing the calendar for both track time and local time. I’m sure many other sites do the same.
It’s not hard to find out your local timezone these days.
So a simple “Season 4 will launch March 26th at xH” and a simple toggle for “local time” is something that is actually very easy to add (as in, less than an hour of development) and does provide extra value for plenty of people.
So I personally feel like this is both not really needed but also so easy to add that there really isn’t a reason not to.
I totally understand that can be easily done but my thinking goes like this “easy or not why would I waste someones time and ask them to do something like this when I can easily do it myself in a minute”
