Adding cutscenes at the end of each chapter would go really far in helping feel the progression of the story. Similar to the character into videos even, they dont need to be amazing but a voice over with a few screenshots. Getting one when you first time travel is nice in explaining exactly what is happening. Or when you first go to the end of time or was up on the beach. It would make all the events feel like they have more impact as well as give players a stronger frame of reference where each chapter starts and stops.
Cutscenes… Sure…
but please have a skip button/settings option to allow them to be bypassed.
I’m not sure each chapter needs a cutscene, some of them (the early ones) are really short.
I think cutscenes would be ok, it would help the feel of the chapter transitions, but I agree that there should be a skip option if they were implemented.
I’m fairly sure this will be in the last patches before release.
I agree that some cutscenes (Could be slideshow/painting style) would help. Espacially when new players arrive and for those that might not take the time to read all NPC dialogs
Maybe not cutscenes persay, but the game has like…2 moments where the camera zooms in a moment to accentuate a scene (first time in the first act town, and when the bird kills the elk thing (I’m terrible with remembering names)) that I feel the game could use more of. There are other moments that I feel could use this added flare and I hope the dev’s have intent to do something like that. Otherwise, they may as well remove the 2 moments in the game already.
