Crossplay with Consoles or nah?

Since the developers did confirm that they want to put the game on consoles here is my topic question for the community.

Is cross-play something that interests you like how D4 does it or just keeping consoles on their own servers kind of how D3 and POE handles it.

My opinion is, if there is no PVP I want cross-play in the game. I could also see ladder being a problem as there is always benefits using either type of control scheme over the other. So, I personally would want cross-play to the game with separate ladders, maybe one for console and one for PC?

I feel ARPG’s benefit from cross-play in the long run to find people to play with. So I am curious on what everyone’s thoughts are on this.

Ive started playing these kind of games since d4 i liked it alot and the big reason was because it was good for ps5. I moved on to this game on the pc but i like it more for the ps5 because it is just the perfect game for it lol, This game has good ingame things like loot filters so u dont need a second screen to look everything up unlike poe, adding crossplay should be there and like you are saying keep leaderboards for console only/pc only/ combined so u just have all 3. I am waiting for this to come to ps5
