This game has everything else added to it with a good streamline of content but I believe everyone would be more involved and engaging if we had something similar to a 40-challenge system that Path of Exile has, so every season focuses on the new content added trough these challenges. D4 has something similar in form of a battle pass too. The rewards do not even need to be as MTX as POE, I think having something permanent added to your profile after each season would help people like myself, (e.g. āWoven Challengerā title on your profile for beating X amount of challenges for this Season)

This would really help player retention! It was one of the things diablo was great at, cause after youāve hit everything gear wise. You just want something else todo, that is prompted/handled ingame. Would love to see challenges added!

Even something like rune rewards, uniques , an extra stash tab without spending gold, or endgame factions like favors or weaver points would be greatly helpful just by playing the game in doing these kinds of achievements/challenges.

When they do implement challenges, the rewards will never be in-game things. Otherwise people would feel the need to no-life the game just to get the rewards. And pretty soon LE would have dailies and a pretty dashboard of notifications on top.
Weāll likely get the PoE model of challenges that give you MTX unlocks after certain points.
Iām curious as to what out of game MTX would look like. T shirts? Hoodies? Maybe a waistcoat & cravat for the highest achievers?

Yes, it was badly worded. I meant gameplay things. Meaning things that impact your gameplay, however slightly.
On the other hand, Iāve since remembered that PoE now has a battle pass system that gives you some currency on the free track as you progress, so what I said isnāt completely true either anymore.
I think if you start doing MTX like that they may put them through some type of option like D4 did where you get a paid version and a free version. The good stuff doesnāt come for free usually.
Not likely. PoE did it for years and there was no paid version. The exception now being the new battle pass.
But for the seasonal challenges, they are still the same: reach challenge X, get seasonal MTX.
There are 3-4 MTX per season you can get.
They give MTX just for leaving twitch on the background, so thereās no reason not to give some to reward you for completing challenges.
Those MTX arenāt that great - the better set items as a whole like full armor come at the price. I guess they could give everybody that pirate one that nobody really uses.
