So I tried to craft something and use some shattering runes and noticed it consuming 2x materials.

First is shattering an item and as you can see it consumes 2 runes of shattering.
Next is upgrading affix tier and again it uses two shards to upgrade.
Last is adding affix and even with Critical Success it consumes one shard (and it shouldnt any because of critical success).
Im also attaching my Player log and Player-prev log cuz Im not sure if I restarted game afterwads (I think not but better to upload both).
This sounds like the old bug that wouldnt update the UI correctly when using shards/runes - i.e. it looks like its using multiple but in fact, when the Forge window is closed and after a window refresh, it shows the correct value - i.e. that only 1 item was used. Sometimes you had to teleport to a new map or reload any character to make sure of the tally but this was uncommon.
This was supposed to be fixed in a previous version but your post makes me wonder if the issue has crept back. There are a few old bugs like this that seem to have reappeared unfortunately.
Can you double check if its just a UI updating issue or if its actually using multiple shards/runes. I would take note of the number on loading a new char… do a test, load a new char (of the same shared loot type) and see if you have the expected number of items after using only 1.
Ok so I’ve just tested it the way You suggested and it seems you are right.
After reloading to another character UI shows right amounts of runes/shards so its indeed UI updating issue.
Also a friend of mine tested it too with same results.
Should I edit my first message to state thats problem with UI updating or your and my reply is enough?
