I feel like the current crafting/LP system is too random.
Problems:

Forging Potential consumption ranges are too high, 1-20. Makes crafting way too random.

LP system: I just want 2 mods on a shield…after farming 4 LP3 shields and farming then crafting 4 double ex shields with the mods i needed…all 4 failed to get just the 2 mods i wanted when combining with the LP3s. What’s the chances of that, 3.5%? I even made sure to use LP3 shields to reduce the odds of failure.
Possible Solutions:

Either reduce the top-end range of FP consumption or just remove the FP on items entirely and control crafts on items by the availability of the runes/glyphs themselves.

Either make the guaranteed mods based on the LP level (1-2 = 1 mod, 3-4=2 mods) or make it so lvl 4 dungeon gives 2 guaranteed mods.
