I have destroyed my upgrade few times because of glyph of chaos while crafting in empty slot. It does not make sense when you add new mod in empty slot that you would like to keep glyph of chaos on second click.
Many times i just glyph of chaos one mod and add one to empty slot and after that just remove it. I cant figure out any situation ppl would add new mod to glyph of chaos it. And if they do, it is more likely they add it afterwards.
This might just be a you thing. It’s the same all across the board for glyphs. Upgrading one, it stays. You might hit it again with GoC, because you got something you didn’t need. It would be on you to look before pressing the button.
Of course it could be just me. But would you see any use for that? Not blaming this on others but i think this is small thing that has no purpose.
Example:
EU has regulated that coffee machines that are sold for commercial uses need to switch off after x amount of time. Even most of the ppl remember to switch it off.
When you don’t get what you want.
But you’re definitely right.
Instead of “loading” the glyph, applying the glyph to the item would be good.
Some may reforge with GoC if they didn’t get the result they wanted.
There are times where even after removing an item, the glyph stays in the forge. Which that is annoying.
I think it would be nice that they combine the materials and forge screen since you can access them from anywhere anyway.
That way they are both right there.
Maybe implement a condition check option which can be enabled/disabled. Sort of like respeccing. But also, when upgrading, it would be annoying to choose a glyph each time. Where on the flip side some would forget and to add one back in for the next upgrade.
Since you acquire so many glyphs, it’s probably set that way since they would be used in bulk until nicer gear.
This one might just be a goes both ways and they can’t please everyone.
Example: Boiling water. Water = item. Element = glyph. Shards + Forge = Switch.
Place item in forge (set water on stove). Place in the glyph (turn on stove).
If you turn the stove off and back on, it’s still in the same status.
If you take off the water to pour it into something else and put it back without touching anything, the stove is still on.
Just have to remember that logic and learn from the oopsie.
I totally get what you’re saying, it’s like the time I was in between shattering items for mats while crafting. It was a solid upgrade. Didn’t have enough shards, so I went through my stash to shatter items. It was late and you know what happens next… Set item. Craft. Poof!
