Couple of suggestions

  • force chat window to deselect when i click to move. give us the option to hide chat quick as it is now or keep it up so we can read messages that are older
  • make sure all the skill animations (especially default attack replacers) have awesome animations. ppl are going to be using these skills for countless hours and if they feel weak then they won’t play them
  • make damage conversion easy. i’m not sure why games make this hard. ppl want to make custom builds, its a huge reason why ppl keep on coming back to arpgs. let us convert any skill to any damage type (changing the animations a lil to match the damage type would also be cool). at the very least please please please extend the available options for conversion if you can fit it into the theme. theme getting in the way of making the build we want is dumb but hey i’ll take what i can get
  • i’m not sure if there is enough build customization in this game to give it longevity. damage conversion, amount of skills, ways to change these skills, etc. would be a good idea imo to give every specialization several playstyles that completely change the way its played, not just changing its default attack replacer
  • trading? please. even for offline characters, just plop a trader somewhere
  • please let us download the game from your website and make sure we can use our steam account
  • weapon swap!
  • when we hold alt to see item info show us affix tiers (implicit range as well). maybe always show so we can decide if we wanna pick something up or not
  • auto pickup mats plssss
  • option to enable dots to each show their own tic damage (colors/ mini picture next to it for this would be helpful too) and possibly the option to disable dots that aren’t our main source of damage
  • let us use spaces in our names? wth is this archaic nonsense
  • infinite shards of shattering from vendors. haivng to relog several times is an annoying waste of time (glyphs of hope too pls?)
  • move our last played character to the top of selection screen
  • multiple same conditions to one loot filter rule. also the ability to choose multiple types and specific subtypes as well. these will help us reduce the amount of rules we have to manage
  • option to combine default attack with move (default left click)
  • up base mana regen at lvl 100 to 12
  • move the r click to equip to something else, since its easy to accidentally click that when you’re selling stuff. no one wants to sell their gear lol
  • make unspeccing passive points more intuitive. i’m sitting here with 48 points in a tree, which should be enough to take 2 out of one part, but its not letting me cuz it says it requires points. the yellow bar should mean we have enough points to reassign. this is extremely annoying
  • game is great but needs more skills per specialization? pretty please
  • wasd movement or bust man. cmon
  • off screen aggro is a problem. its usually either projectiles or minions
  • the passive indicator when searching for a particular trait in the character menu is too miniscule
  • button combo to drop items from inventory (shift l click for example)
  • increase base crit to 10%
  • add forging potential for loot filter

Again, agreed. Examples of this: Shield Rush: Awesome. Fury Leap: Fantastic. Teleport, Shift, Lunge, Transplant? MEH.

I’d personally prefer entire loadout swaps, but that’s me.

Instead of dots why not just change it to read: “T17 Superbadass Freezing DeathAxe of Smashy Mobsmooshing” The T# would be VERY nice (although you can Filter for this specifically if you want to create a rule)

They don’t want to do that as it would break the thematics of the classes/skills. Though they do do this with uniques.

Yeah, that’s about what my day’s been like, so thanks for the smile…

to hell with theme, let ppl make the build they want to make so they play the game longer and have a better time while doing so.

It’s impossible to bring balance to the force.
(Or the dps metrics if you give every class every damage type and ailment)

it would be more work but not too hard to add exceptions to skills when converting them. besides its not like arpgs are meant to be balanced anyways. also why is flamethrower so broken on mage fireball? part of the fun in arpgs is breaking the game.

If you’re going to go down that route, then I want to be able to take Holy Aura on any other class/mastery.

D2 Bowladin was good times. But pretty sure the intrinsics will not do well with the class skills.

Having more options for builds is fine but you have to remember that a big part of the fun of making builds is having some kind of limitations and trying to work around them. If you could easily convert anything into anything it’s likely every build would end up using the same element because there would always be one choice that just does the most damage.
