Couple of ideas for monetization

So these are only ideas and I would like to know what all of you think.
When monetization is made as an optional choice is not creating enough profit I think we can all agree on that, sure we can argue that it is course of the bad looking cosmetics. But if that is true or not I think this might fix any issues in future at least financial.

So here are couple of ideas

  1. Give an option to pay 5 to 10 dollars to progress faster through corruption
  2. Make possible for people to pay to level up
  3. Make certain items which are really hard to obtain with high LP be purchasable in special shop for real money of course just an option
  4. Make possible to re spawn after death in uber fight for real money
  5. Make being able to play season month in advance if u pay and then u get as well all cosmetics for free
  6. And of course this wouldn’t have any sense if u dont add PvP
So what are your opinion guys
  7. Make person who spends the most be a boss that people can raid
  8. Make third gender a payable option

This post was brought to you by certainly not Krafton’s sales team.

That’s the only thing I would say yes to instead of questioning every other word. If people want to be special snowflakes make them pay.

So the payed DLC class dosnt sound bad so much now

Personally I doubt I’ll buy the paid class, however depending on how it is implemented will determine if I will support the game further or if I just uninstall and never look back.

If the class is too powerful and the game ends up being balanced around the power level of paid classes, that is pay to win.

Im sure it will not be like that but balance problems u already know they have the same problem with every class they work on

It won’t be out until 2027 at the earliest if each season is going to be 7 months long so no point worrying about it for the time being.

My opinion is that suggestions 1-5 are prime examples of what is wrong with the gaming industry, the rest are just silly.

1-4 I agree with you, 5 is just wtf? They already struggle to get their seasons out in a normal amount of time & the OP wants to shave a month off that? Though tbf, that’s kinda what the CT was/is.

Just wanted to point out to people things are not really bad as most of people think, I should have been more obvious

I will leave my sarcasm sign the next time

Sure, but your argument is the same as saying:
“We could be shooting a kid, or hitting him with a bat, so just kicking him isn’t as bad as most people think”.

The fact that worse things exist doesn’t mean a bad thing isn’t bad anymore.

I think their way of communicating that was bigger issue than payed DLC, I mean other option is what to close the doors, definitely wouldn’t want that u cant find these days ARPG with seasons similar to POE that has offline mod and kicking kid is better than to kill him LOL

That makes it seem like there was no other option other than paid DLCs, but that’s not true.

There are plenty of paid stuff people would be fine with, like paid character slots, paid special tabs (like one for uniques), etc. All stuff that definitely doesn’t give you any in-game advantage and that players are fine with.

So yeah, kicking is better than killing or maiming, but it’s not as good as pushing.

Paid char slot ok how many people actualy need that 1percent of player base, unique stash tab def yes but this is one time thing and since all tabs are gold payed that means nothing is left there, etc name it

Hideouts (where a bunch are bought) and their hundreds or thousands of different MTX (most of which are bought).
Character apparitions (similar to PoE).
UI themes.
Character portraits.

Those are just some I can think of off the top of my head. I’m sure if we spend more time on it we can come up with a bunch more non-gameplay stuff to sell.
