Cost of Stash Tabs

Hi, first of all thank you for an excellent game, abeit still in Early Access, it’s already knocking spots off a lot of the fully released titles, keep up the good work.

My query is one that I also raised on the Twitch Stream today (24 April 2023) namely the ever increasing/very high cost of stash tabs.

I pointed out that already I am around 30 tabs and the last one cost something in the region of £300k gold.

Other chatters said they are already paying over £500k over tab now.

Please can you consider setting a lower ramp-up for the stash tabs, maybe even a cap too on the price, as it’s difficult to choose between a lot of the dropped items (what to keep what to ditch) when saving globally for other alts.

As an altaholic, which is a habit I’ve formed due to the love and enjoyment of the oh so many build possibilities in Last Epoch, I would love a tweak to the cost of tabs. I feel the curve of the price increase matches well with people who mainly play 1 or 2 characters, but is far more difficult to manage for people like myself who want to consistently play every single mastery (and even the same one multiple times, I’m looking at you Druid).

My next tab will cost 260k gold. I am at around 3.5m gold, but I am not looking forward to having to pay 300k, 500k, etc. for my future tabs.

There should be a max tab cost, e.g. 200k, which would be sensible imo. As it stands it’s a bit rich.

Wait till you get to a million gold a tab… then we can talk. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, I have played far too many hours and I stupidly used to collect far too much rubbish when I didnt actually understand what was really good to keep. And yes, I have 20 odd stash tabs of just of uniques that I will never use. The trick I have learned is to use the loot filter and be selective on what you keep - the game drops a LOT of loot especially in end-game.

Also, at end game levels there are only two places for gold sinks right now - the Lightless Arbour dungeon and Stash tabs. There really isnt any use for gold beyond those - respecing doesnt use very much and there is nothing but Shattering runes to buy from the shops…

I figure as the game matures and there is more “use” for gold, then perhaps some balancing re stash tabs would be useful, but honestly… stop keeping rubbish is my advice. Just takes some time to understand whats rubbish and whats not …

Completely agree here, Lightless Arbor essentially doesn’t exist for me since I never have more gold than my next tab costs.
