I picked up the east moon fragment before getting the quest. When I completed the west side I received the quest and it told me to go back to the east side but the fragment is gone because I already got it.
Of course this makes it impossible to progress. Going to the pearl altar does nothing. Also there is a typo on that quest line
Same situation. Now I’m stuck in Coral pools. Can’t move forward. I can’t wait to get out of the coral prison.

Excact same here. Altars are not showing, the moon fragment in the Coral Pools is blinking, but is not there when I arrive.

Add me to this list. Should be on the known bugs list too since a search finds this has happened numerous times in the past to people.
I did submit a bug report from within the game. I am playing an offline char, not fully offline.

Thanks EHG for fixing this. I feel heard. Also thanks to the community for being so patient. Really impressed with everyone’s ability to deal with an understandably frustrating situation.
I collected both fragments. Went into shrine area. No side altars. Went to center one, and it told me to collect the west one. Went there, there is no fragment there. Campaign stuck.
