so ive been having issues with the character auto-targeting random mobs off in the distance whether there are mobs nearby or not.
use “shift” to speed up travel with no mobs nearby? A nearby wall now has your face imprinted on it like a loony toons frying pan cause your controller had a raging hate b**** for something it saw 4 miles away.
semi frequently target diagonally from a mob directly in front of you but not highlighted at the top of screen.
its also been interfering with item targeting for pickups. it will prefer to target distant mobs sometimes and never target loot under your feet for the whole zone. (right analog manual targeting still works… and of course mouse is fine)
but i decided to finally post this in bug report after i just spent a whole match with a bow vs the “Idol Of loathing” giant worm boss, firing arrows diagonally to the side of it when i was in point blank range. the name at the top of the screen would also often be a mob directly behind me when i was aiming straight for the boss.
(also for some reason when targeting said boss directly with a controller, the “decoy” skill will get chucked down the pit like some kid decided their poor Raggedy Ann doll desperately wanted to go see something shiny at the bottom of the grand canyon, does no dmg or taunt… no clue where it actually landed tho… just picturing it flying off doing the goofy ya ha ha ha hooey! yell as it plummets >.<)
