Continued Graphic Stutter/Tearing/Memory Leak/other Issues

Seems some of these have already been reported prior to 1.0 going back quite some time into the past.

I completely reinstalled the game today from scratch, deleted the game folder manually and downloaded everything again, this changed nothing.

Updated my Graphics drivers too.

  1. Screen tearing or a skipping/warping effect when you move across a map. Enabling or disabling V-Sync does not fix this, nor does going from Full Screen to Borderless Window or the reverse order. Sometimes turning everything off works for a while then it starts again.

  2. Graphics settings not actually changing, example: If I change the Grass Density to FULL from LOW or from LOW to FULL, all Grass disappears, it won’t even load in after teleporting to a new area. It won’t come back unless I do something as drastic as restart the client or change the preset , which changes everything else and is not desirable. It’s almost as if the client dropdown paraments have intermittent or no control of the GPU or it’s functions.

  3. There appears to be a memory leak still as well. It loads with around 5gb or so and in an hour and a half it is up to 10gb

The graphic issues are not consistent. I can find a set of settings that seem to work for a time, then it starts again after an hour or 2 or after I restart the client. It is hard for me to work out exactly what the problem setting/s are. The memory leak seems to be unfixable with settings.

I can remember a time where companies paid their testers to get a product out and they wouldn’t even dream of putting something out that didn’t work properly. I am not pasting log files or doing the job of testing for you, my time is my own. I hope you can fix your game or enjoy your dud. If you’re wondering why I have this position it is because I am tired of the entire gaming industry using me to make their stuff work and charging ridiculous prices for the ‘privilege’ of beta testing every time they are supposed to have a finished product. There are more than enough posts by others detailing these exact issues.

Good luck, I hope you can fix your game. I’ll be happy to come back and see how things have progressed and might even dip into your cash shop if you can get things in order, but, this isn’t my first rodeo.
