Hai~ I’ve spent the last few weeks playing beastmaster and his various buddies. I am really loving raptor right now but over all I think there should be some balancing to the pets.
Bear - super tanky, does pretty good swipe damage later game (I am very geared with double T7’s +++ on gear) but kind of slow, able to do decent corr
Wolves - fun, fast, zappy - again pretty good over all damage
Raptor - fast, insane map damage with skill, hitting things for MILLIONS - seems excessive and then swap to any single target boss and it’s very sub par.
Sabretooth - kind of similar to bear but less tanky
All of these can run good high corruption, specially raptor when youve got your own survivability up 1000+ but hitting things for 5+ million at 1000c then dropping down to normal abby and hitting him for a tiny fraction of that seems weird. I think with this;
Bear - more dmg over all
Raptor - balance his insane kill streak for some single target
Wolves - die a lot, not could also do with more dmg
Sabre tooth - again could do with more dmg
Most of the dmg needs to be single target, if the entire reason of a beast master is to have good pet dmg that means you’re kind of gimping your char to just having life/ward which makes a painful time of hitting swipe for buffs. It’s a really fun class and can do normal abby but compare it to other pets;
Stormcrows - sure snap shotted but have seen without downing UBER
Falconer - Uber in seconds.
Abomination - Seen snap and non snap - Uber, saw a 1 second normal Abby kill
I am merely asking if it’s possible to get more balance in the pets, make them stronger because as you know from the stats its a super low % played class, always has been. This patch was a nice start I hope you keep working on them and can make it so if you invest ALL your heart and soul into the gear for pets then they can actually destroy single target and map nicely. It’s not a support class, it needs desperate love <3
